[PAST EVENT] AMP / Giving Context to Culture: Exploring the Fine Line
Access & Features
- Free food
- Open to the public
AMP Contemporary and Cultural Issues Committee and the Center for Student Diversity present "Giving Context to Culture: Exploring the Fine Line." This event explores the importance of providing context for what you are consuming and how that context can reshape our perspective and understanding of other cultures.
Organizations, clubs, and/or individuals will be performing a wide range of acts: dance, poetry, song, and much more! This event is different from other cultural showcases because the acts will be providing context to the audience about their performance.
The entire event consists of an hour-long show of performances, followed by a 10-15 minute intermission to grab food and a 20 minute Q&A session with a panel (including CSD and student performers). Come out on Wednesday, November 20th at 7 PM to Commonwealth Auditorium in Sadler to see these amazing performances and learn more about cultures around you!
