The two lead characters from The Last Black Man in San Francisco look up. The AMP logo and ACS logo lay on the chest of one of the characters. The event description takes up the rest of the graphic.

In honor of Black History Month, AMP and the African Cultural Society at William & Mary has teamed up to screen one of the best films of 2019, The Last Black Man in San Francisco (Winner of Best Director and Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival).

The film revolves around a Jimmie Fails, a young Black man who dreams of reclaiming his childhood home built in the heart of San Francisco. Jimmie searches for belonging in a rapidly changing city that seems to have left him and his family behind.
