Founded in 2008, the annual Global China Connection Global Summit is one of the most renowned student-run conferences focusing on China. Dedicated to a pluralistic platform on China's development and its relation with the global community at large, the event features leaders across a diverse set of industries including business, academic, and politics, and encourages insightful conversations and ideas. Over 3000 attendees and 100 speakers have been drawn to the summit from around the globe since its origination. This year, our virtual Summit consists of panels on entrepreneurship, business, innovation, international relations, trade, technology, and investment. The W&M chapter of Global China Connection is honored to host the international relations panel titled "US-China Relations Under Biden and Xi: Seeking Order From Chaos" on Friday, March 12th. Learn about key security issues in US-China relations from Robert Jervis (prominent IR scholar and professor at Columbia), Bonnie Glaser (Senior Advisor for Asia, Center for Strategic and International Studies), and Wang Huiyao (Founder and President, Center for China and Globalization)! Registration here. There is no entry fee for the Summit. You will receive Zoom links to registered panels by email prior to the event date.
