Join us on April 4, from 11:00 a.m. to noon, as we welcome Marie Pellissier, PhD candidate at William & Mary, to learn how scholars use cookbooks as a primary source in historical research. She will discuss what makes cookbooks unique as a historical source, how to approach them as a physical object, and how to read cookbooks to glean historical insight into less well-known narratives.

Participants will also have the option to share their own cookbooks, both during the virtual program and on-site at Highland for an in-person cookbook pop-up exhibit scheduled at 1:00 p.m.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration is required to access the Zoom Webinar.
