First Impressions

The Literati Society is pleased to invite you to our first annual literary ball! To celebrate our organization's entrance into William & Mary society, this year's theme will be First Impressions (Jane Austen's title for an early version of Pride & Prejudice).


Join us for a lovely evening of music, refreshments, a silent auction, games, and crafts. Formal or semi-formal attire is encouraged, but you can arrive dressed as your favorite book character to enter our costume contest (entries close at 8:30PM)! All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Freedom to Read Foundation.

The event is free to W&M students, but we ask that our friends and neighbors from the greater Williamsburg community provide a donation at the door to support event costs.
