[PAST EVENT] Nach Ke Dikha (NKD) Intercollegiate Bhangra & Fusion Dance Competition
The Nach Ke Dikha Bhangra (NKD) and Fusion Dance Competition will be held on the evening of April 1, 2017 at the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Hall on the William & Mary campus. NKD is an intercollegiate Bhangra & Fusion Dance Competition hosted by William & Mary and the South Asian Student Association at the university.
Now in its sixth year, NKD has already hosted teams from across the country at Phi Beta Kappa Hall. This year the respective first-place winners of the Bhangra and the Fusion categories will each receive a $1000 Grand Prize and the second-place winners will each receive $500 in prize money.
The South Asian Student Association at William & Mary is a student organization aimed at spreading South Asian culture to both the W&M community and the greater Williamsburg area. We foster South Asian culture through a plethora of events, ranging from live dance showcases to group-wide sporting events.
At SASA, we promote and encourage diversity; the organization is open to all people who wish to participate in an engaging endeavor. We reach out to all members of the community, encouraging unity by celebrating our mutual passion for South Asian culture.
