The William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE), in conjunction with William and Mary?s community studies minor, provides research opportunities, workshops, and cohort building experiences with the goal of encouraging students from under-represented groups, first generation students, and students who have overcome adversity to consider graduate school. The intended audience is those who may be interested in starting a program including: administrators, instructional faculty, and professional faculty including: admissions, counseling, diversity, financial aid, librarians, and academic support. Those looking to augment and institutionalize existing programs such as McNair, Mellon, and Bonner Scholars programs may find the session particularly helpful.
