The Women's Network invites you to join us for our first Open Chat of the semester with Dr. Jacquelyn McLendon, Professor Emeritus in English, on February 16 at noon. Dr. McLendon will be honored during the 2021 Charter Day ceremony with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. She has lead William & Mary in countless ways over two plus decades, from the creation of Black studies and serving as its first director to her leading the 50th anniversary commemoration to the publication of Building on the Legacy: African Americans at William & Mary, An Illustrated History of 50 Years and Beyond. We hope that you will join us for a conversation about her pioneering leadership and stories from along the way.
