GIS in Local Government : Organizing Chaos and Empowering Decisions
In collaboration with Virginia Media Inc., the Charles Center is sponsoring six journalism masterclasses in '24-'25 facilitated by Virginian-Pilot and Daily Press Features Editor Denise Watson.
Allison Aitken, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Columbia University, will present a talk titled "Vasubandhu on Volitional Action: From Mind-Body to Mind-Only."

The week-long Ampersand Festival features special guests, films, music, theater, dance, author talks, and professional workshops.
At the Writing and Communication Center, trained peer consultants offer individual assistance with writing, presentation, and other communication assignments across disciplines and at any stage, from generating ideas to polishing a final product.
POSTPONED: Due to Inclement weather, the artist talk and reception will take place on Friday (2/21) from 4-7pm. The Lecture will begin at 5pm at the Muscarelle Museum of Art conference hall next door.
