An Evening of Dance is an annual concert in which students explore and develop original choreography performed by their peers in the Orchesis Modern Dance Company, under the mentorship of the Dance faculty.
The Department of Art & Art History presents the Non-Majors show
keynote address is from 5-6:30pm on April 3, followed by a performance by the Middle East Music Ensemble. The three panels on April 4 are scheduled from 9:30am to 6:30pm. The final panel is in honor of our late colleague, Abdul-Karim Rafeq.
“Studying Pleasure Spaces for Multiply Marginalized People” This talk will provide an initial overview of Dr. Schalk’s newest research project on the practice of pleasure activism.
The competition will feature Barr Fellows, outstanding Arts & Sciences Honors seniors, who will have just five minutes to effectively explain their research and its importance to a general audience.

At the Writing and Communication Center, trained peer consultants offer individual assistance with writing, presentation, and other communication assignments across disciplines and at any stage, from generating ideas to polishing a final product.
POSTPONED: Due to Inclement weather, the artist talk and reception will take place on Friday (2/21) from 4-7pm. The Lecture will begin at 5pm at the Muscarelle Museum of Art conference hall next door.
