SEC Commissioner Hester M. Peirce will join our community for a public lecture during the lunch hour. Free admission and the public is welcome. Her visit is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Law and Markets.
The purpose of the event is to inform 1Ls that things in law school might not always go as planned, but our community at William & Mary helps one another fail forward together. Lunch will be served.
ILSS will be hosting a bake sale the last week of October (the 28-30) to raise money for local refugees. Everything will be $1, so stop by and pick up some delicious baked goods! We will be in the lobby from 11:00am-2:00pm each day.
The Campus Food Pantry is OPEN for all WM students, faculty and staff- so please come take some free food to get through finals- featuring canned goods, household items and microwavable meals!

On December 4, 1779, George Wythe became the first professor of law in America, a professorship created at William & Mary by the Board of Visitors at the urging of Thomas Jefferson. Various events will commemorate the 240th anniversary of that event.
