The Department of State is hosting us from 10-12pm on Friday January 12th for a tour, information session, and Q&A with the Recruitment Office. The Office for Victims of Crime at the DOJ will host us from 1:30-2:30pm. More info.

Since WWII, the U.S. has relied on training and equipping foreign militaries to stabilize fragile states. Dr. Mara Karlin, a scholar-policymaker, examines when, why, and under what circumstances the United States can be more successful in doing so.
Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole will keynote the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Commemoration Program, lecturing on, "Barriers are Meant to be Broken." This year's remembrance is part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of African Americans in Residence at W&M.
