The film Love is the Way tells the stories of these connections, and the power of the continuing efforts to keep oil companies out of the Refuge’s sacred coastal plain.
The 2022 Preview features federal court of appeals judges, Supreme Court advocates who have collectively argued more than 500 cases before the Court, and leading Court reporters and columnists from the nation's top newspapers.

Professor Erwin Chemerinsky will present the Cutler Lecture and the university's Constitution Day Lecture on September 16. Admission is free for this event and all are welcome to attend.
Come to the Law Library and see our display for Banned Books Week! We highlighted a selection of works from the collection on obscenity law and censorship. The display is located on the first floor and open to the public.
William & Mary Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), with the Black Law Student Association and Election Law Society, is hosting a screening of Chosen, a documentary about five Korean-American congressional candidates who ran in 2020.
The Legal History Society presents its annual Colonial Williamsburg Walk with Thomas Jefferson. We'll meet in front of the law school at 4:45 to walk over to Palace Green, where we will hear about the good - and problematic - parts of his life.
The annual Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Conference is presented by the William & Mary Property Rights Project and is named in recognition of Toby Prince Brigham and Gideon Kanner for their lifetime contributions to private property rights.
