Are you thinking about applying to be a Writing Resources Center consultant? Come to an info session to learn more! Talk to current consultants and hear about what we do in the WRC. We'll introduce you to our services, and answer all your questions.
After the research is completed and written up, this is the time for seeking publication. Publication looks different for different disciplines, but there are aspects that are universal such as the general process and contract negotiation.
Join us for a book talk with national bestselling author Fiona Davis ’88. She will be discussing her latest book, The Magnolia Palace. The W&M Bookstore will have copies of her books for sale, and Fiona will be signing books following her talk.
Teaching through the COVID pandemic was an exhausting and sometimes thankless task, but while adapting to its challenges W&M educators developed new skills, innovated their teaching methods, and re-envisioned how we can reach students with diverse needs.
We'll review best practices for writing clear learning objectives, brainstorm learning activities that support the mastery of those objectives, talk about approaches to assessment, and make sure you have a strong plan for instructor presence.

The CGA is celebrating Geography Awareness Week from November 14th - 18th! There will be events each day and a weeklong competition with geo-swag prizes for undergraduate winners and ArcGIS Personal Use licenses for graduating senior and alumni winners.
