Paul Showalter will present on incorporating multimedia resources from Swem Library's amazing databases and collections into your courses.

All are welcome to attend a lecture by Dr. Brian Dias, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry from Emory University School of Medicine, titled "Multi-generational perspectives on the future of psychiatry: Molecular Neuroscience to Contemplative Practice."

A&S Graduate students are encouraged to apply for support [maximum of $300] from the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (OGSR) that will allow them to collect data at museums or archives, conduct research, and travel to field work sites.

Described as a "delicate balance of comedy and lecture," the annual Raft Debate features four W&M faculty members from diverse disciplines, stranded on a desolate island with only a one-person life raft for escape to civilization.

All W&M undergraduates are invited to apply to be named Weingartner Global Fellows for the 2016 calendar year. Applications are due in the Charles Center by October 23, 2015.

This workshop (Bring Your Own Lunch!) focuses on terms, definitions, examples, what is happening on colleges around the country as well as the work done here at W&M, and how faculty and staff can be involved in such work.

Increase your effectiveness as a student advocate to reduce gender violence and meet like-minded peers in this exciting workshop presented by Dr. Stephanie Gilmore. This workshop is for students only (undergraduate, graduate or exchange).

In this workshop facilitated by Dr. Stephanie Gilmore, see and hear examples of how the media create or even disarm a rape culture. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created a relationship-positive Spotify song list!

Professor Lorna Hutson from the School of English at St Andrews University will give a lecture based on her forthcoming book, Circumstantial Shakespeare.
