In celebration of the Reves Center's Silver Anniversary, Dr. James Goldgeier will present the George Tayloe Ross Lecture on International Peace.

This reception immediately follows the lecture by Dr. James Goldgeier (3:00 p.m. in Commonwealth Auditorium).

Described as a "delicate balance of comedy and lecture," the annual Raft Debate features four W&M faculty members from diverse disciplines, stranded on a desolate island with only a one-person life raft for escape to civilization.

At this week's meeting we will be focusing on Narendra Modi, India's new Prime Minister, and his initiatives for India's economic and social development including his five-point economic plan for India and his question "Where are your sons?" Come out!

Information session for students interested in learning more about the W&M 2015 summer abroad language programs in Cadiz (Spain), Montpellier (France), Potsdam (Germany), and St. Petersburg (Russia).

We plan on making a stop at William & Mary on October 17th to meet students, take photos, answer questions about Peace Corps and hand out merchandise. We are planning to arrive at the College around 11am, and will park in Phi Beta Kappa circle!

This past year Dalton Bennett has covered the Westgate Mall Attacks; Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines; the Gaza War; Unrest in Ukraine; the Russian invasion of Crimea; the fall of Mosul; and most recently the Scottish Referendum.

This talk is part of the annual Russian and Post-Soviet Studies Homecoming weekend events.
