CBNERR Discovery Lab - Fishes of the Bay

VIMS - Catlett-Burruss Research and Education Lab
In this lab, participants will be able to view tanks with many Chesapeake Bay/York River fish species, examine fish from the VIMS Fish Collection, study fish forms and functions, and learn about York River fishes with VIMS grad student Miguel Montalvo.

Join us as Dr. Steven Kuehl highlights the transport of river-borne sediment from mountain source to ocean sink, its importance to the global CO2 cycle, and the changes wrought by human activity. Registration is required.
