[PAST EVENT] Red Flag Campaign
Access & Features
- Open to the public
Violence from a partner is an all too common experience for young people. About 45% of women and 41% of men surveyed first experienced sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking from an intimate partner between the ages 18-24.*National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey 2016/2017*
The Red Flag Campaign is an awareness project that uses bystander intervention strategies to address and prevent sexual violence on college campuses. The campaign encourages friends and other campus community members to say something when they see warning signs ("red flags") for sexual violence. We will have a table with resources and physical red flags people can write on and put in the ground for awareness.
