Join alumni, family and friends for an engaging and informative lunch with John Millar, M.A. '81, an alumni storyteller extraordinaire to hear the remarkable truth about Benedict Arnold!
Millar is a material-culture historian, author, history and architectural history professor, shipbuilder, English Country dancer, innkeeper, folk singer and more! According to Millar’s research, "The Revolutionary War would have fizzled out only days after the Declaration of Independence if it had not been for Benedict Arnold, and modern people would never have heard of George Washington or Thomas Jefferson. Arnold anticipated every British move and successfully countered it up to the victory at Saratoga in 1777.”
This annual event quickly sells out. RSVP early to reserve your spot.
Tickets are $25 / $20 for government, military and veteran alumni. Seating is limited.
Hourly parking is available across from the World Trade Center in the Town Point Garage at 110 W. Main Street.
