This first event in our anniversary year includes the premiere of the first video in our year-long series exploring the Washington Center’s past, present, and future.

Following the premiere, a panel discussion on the Center’s beginning will feature many of the important people who helped start the Washington Center, including:

  • Stewart H. Gamage '72, former W&M Vice President for Public Affairs, 1994-2008
  • Mitchell B. Reiss, former W&M Director of the Reves Center and Dean of International Affairs, 2002-2003
  • W. Taylor Reveley, III LL.D. '18, HON '18, 27th President of W&M, 2008-2018
  • Timothy J. Sullivan '66, 25th President of W&M, 1992-2005
  • Susan Hall Wayland '68, inaugural Washington Center Director, 2001-2003
  • With a special appearance by President Katherine Rowe.
