Join us for the first in a series of events sponsored by TowneBank, bringing W&M leaders throughout Virginia together to discuss business challenges, partnerships and collaborations. The first session will focus on tourism in Virginia.

Alexis serves the Peninsula and Williamsburg, VA regions by providing stellar customer service, proactive financial solutions and extending a culture that creates a warm sense of belonging. She has 3 decades of banking industry experience and joined TowneBank in 2019. Alexis holds an MBA in Finance from William & Mary and a BBA in Marketing from Howard University. She also has a financial planning certification from Old Dominion University.

Alexis was appointed to the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University by Governor Ralph Northam in 2019. She is also a board member for the United Way of Virginia Peninsula; Jamestown Yorktown Foundation Inc; Fear to Freedom; Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, and the Hampton Delta Foundation Inc.

Cliff, a retired corporate executive, is a teacher, community volunteer, board member, operating advisor for private equity organizations and consultant. Cliff teaches at William & Mary, is chair of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, incoming chair of ChamberRVA, and a board member of the William & Mary Foundation, the Virginia Business Higher Education Council, and Virginia Repertory Theatre. Cliff retired as the President and CEO of Philip Morris USA, after a long career at Altria where he worked in marketing, business development, strategy, operations, finance and sales. Cliff has a BA, MA, MBA and JD from William & Mary.

Benny is an associate in Kaufman & Canoles’ Williamsburg office and a member of the Commercial and Real Estate Strategies Practice Groups. His previous service on the Williamsburg City Council lends a unique perspective on business and zoning matters. Benny remains extensively involved in the community and values the personal relationships involved in assisting clients.
