Alumni Engagement Events

Join the Cohen Career Center for A Day in D.C., where we will participate in a series of site visits to the workplaces of W&M alumni who are working at federal agencies, think tanks, and nonprofit organizations. 

For the upcoming trip, we will visit the Brookings Institution, the Public International Law & Policy Group, and the Department of State. 

We will start our morning at the Brookings Institution, a preeminent American research group founded in 1916 on Think Tank Row in Washington, D.C. Brookings conducts research and education in the social sciences, primarily in economics, metropolitan policy, governance, foreign policy, and global economy and economic development.

This experience is a remarkable networking opportunity. During our visit, we will learn from industry leaders about their career pathways and explore opportunities in their fields.

You can choose to attend one, two, or all three of the site visits listed above, but you must register for the site visit(s) you will attend in TribeCareers. We need to have a record of your registration for you to be able to participate. 

There is no registration fee for this event. 

The registration deadline is January 3, 2020, but space is limited, so don't delay!
