[PAST EVENT] Brown Bag: Techno-Economic Geoanalytical Modeling of the CO2 Sequestration 45Q Tax Credit

Michael Marquis is a Project Manager at Enegis, LLC, specializing in constructing purpose-built, quantitative Geographical Information System (GIS) models of energy systems. He has twenty-two years of experience with GIS including twenty as a professional energy and natural resources consultant. Mike will discuss quantitative vector GIS modeling, and give examples of real-world geoanalytical application. He?ll talk about CO2, the new 45Q tax credit encouraging people to sequester it, and how GIS will be used to analyze it. Mike is going to extol the benefits of private consulting and entice you with a Research Internship for current senior Geology majors.
