Will Hausman received his B.A. degree from William & Mary in 1971 and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1976. He was a research student at the London School of Economics in 1975. In 1981 he returned to William & Mary and now is Chancellor Professor of Economics. Over his years as a widely respected economic historian, Professor Hausman has dedicated his time to teaching, university governance, and leadership in the field of Business and Economic History. At the end of his distinguished academic career, and especially after a 50+ year relationship with William & Mary, we are glad to show our respect and appreciation for him and would like to invite the W&M community to come celebrate his retirement and honor the investment of service he has made over the years.
