W&M students can apply to intern in East Asia through funding from the Freeman Intern Fellowships in East Asia program.

Visit and meet the 2022 Freeman Fellows in East Asia, and find out more about the application process to live and intern in East Asia for 8 weeks in summer 2023. Students applying must be able to return in fall 2023 for the required COLL300 course, APIA-AMES 385 Student Think Tank. Free Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches) to the first 40 guests.
