[PAST EVENT] Seminar on Teaching Career for Undergraduate Students

Abstract:
This seminar will present information about careers in teaching specifically for students pursuing a degree in a science, technology, and mathematics discipline. In particular it will outline the steps required to become a teacher (certification process) and the type of teaching careers available. It will also present the Robert Noyce Scholarship program at William and Mary, an NSF sponsored program that offers $10,000 per year to students who are science and mathematics majors to obtain a teaching certification through the William and Mary School of Education.
