[PAST EVENT] Project Runway
February 11, 2012 - February 12, 2012
9pm - 1am
Teams will have 15 minutes to sketch their design and about 1 1/2-2 hours to create. The designs will then be presented in a runway show to be judged by 2 judges and an audience vote for favorite design.
NOTE: These will be base materials, such as newspaper, wrapping paper, felt, and plain white t-shirts. You will be using staplers and possibly duct tape or hot glue to construct your design. There will not be sewing in this challenge.
The winning team will receive AMP Late Nite T-shirts and a 1-year subscription to Netflix! The second place winner will receive a Project Runway DVD pack. The fiercest model (also voted on by the judges and audience) will also receive a prize!
Those who aren't interested in designing are welcome to come see teams create their designs, watch the runway show, and vote on your favorite design and model. We will also be showing episodes of Project Runway.
Teams can pre-register on the event page or at the event. Each team MUST have a member who is willing to model their design in the runway show.
