[PAST EVENT] Anthropology Brown Bag Series: Rob Rose, W&M Center for Geospatial Analysis
February 17, 2016
12pm - 1pm
Rob Rose, Director of the Center for Geospatial Analysis (CGA), will be discussing The Geospatial Revolution at William & Mary: Improving education and research through the geosciences:
As the new Director of the Center for Geospatial Analysis (CGA), I will use this time to introduce the CGA Staff and Steering Committee, review the role of the CGA in terms of teaching and research and discuss opportunities to engage with your faculty and students around the geosciences in and outside of the classroom. I will also discuss the use of GIS in Archeology. Finally, I hope we can have an open discussion about how the Anthropology department is engaging the geosciences and how the CGA can further support these activities.
