He is a Certified Public Accountant in the USA and China, a UK Chartered Accountant, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

ALISON HERRING, MACC ?03
Chair of the W&M Mason School of Business Accounting Programs Board, KPMG Senior Manager, and Director of KPMG?s program that has partnered with Ohio State and Villanova to launch a new Accounting Analytics Master of Science Degree. Alison has substantial experience in an advisory capacity with KPMG auditor partners involved in PCAOB audits. 

ALISON SPIVEY, BBA ?93
Partner in the Ernst & Young LLP Professional Practice Group. She consults with EY member firm engagement teams on technical accounting and reporting matters, monitors activities of standard-setting bodies, drafts firm materials related to new and existing accounting pronouncements and leads professional education courses. Alison is also a member of the IASB/FASB Joint Transition Resource Group for Revenue Recognition. Prior to joining EY, Alison spent more than four years in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as an associate chief accountant.
