[PAST EVENT] WMCI Summer Classes
The William & Mary Confucius Institute is offering a variety of language and culture courses from May 1st to May 25th (Session I), June 5th to June 29th (Session II), and July 10 ? August 2 (Session III), with a special session for Taiji from May 23 ? August 2. The following courses will be offered this summer: Chinese Level I, World Heritage, A Sample of China, Guzheng I and Erhu I for Session I; Chinese Level II, Chinese Calligraphy, Guzheng II, Erhu II, and Preparing to Travel in China for Session II; Chinese Level I for session III. A Taiji course will be held over both sessions, beginning May 23rd and ending August 1st (no class July 4th).
The cost for each course is $10/class, to be paid in full on the first day of class. In general, each session holds 8 classes per course ($80). In summer 2017, the Taiji class will meet 10 times throughout the semester, totaling $100. The Cooking Class will meet for 4 classes, costing $40. W&M faculty, staff, and students always receive a 50% discount (e.g. $40 for 8 classes).
