Do you ever get stuck when tutoring a student in math? Do ?new math? techniques used in today?s elementary and middle school classrooms have you scratching your head? Yeah, us too. Sometimes explaining even the most intuitive mathematical concepts to students can be a major challenge.

Griffin School Partnerships? second training will focus on math education. Professor Clarke from the W&M School of Education will be sharing valuable insights on how to best approach math tutoring. Not tutoring math this semester? No problem! Following Professor Clarke?s talk, we will have a more informal discussion about techniques in Language Arts tutoring!
