Kathleen Powell, Chief Career Officer and Associate Vice President for Advancement, and Phil Heavilin, Director, Internships & Applied Learning, from Career Development & Professional Engagement will be hosting an interactive workshop, where you will gain insights into the hiring and mentoring of student academic interns. Topics to be addressed in the workshop include how to effectively recruit and hire student interns, best practices for mentorship, and creating professional development opportunities for students in research-based internships. Learn to integrate NACE’s Career Competencies to enhance student learning, promote employability skills, and create an impactful internship experience designed for student growth.
