Focusing on the Future exposes high-ability learners to career opportunities related to the arts, humanities, mathematics, and sciences. The program also informs parents of considerations for effective career and academic planning.

Sessions are offered for students in grades 6-8, grades 9–12, parents, and counselors.

 Other activities include a lunchtime panel discussion with William & Mary students and an opportunity for a campus tour.
