The Virginia Division on Career Development and Transition is accepting proposals and registrations for our 2023 conference on March 6th at the Hotel Roanoke. Our theme for this year is Aspire, Believe, Achieve! Life After High School. This event highlights best practices to result in a smooth transition from school to adult life for youth with disabilities. Please join us!

Submit a Proposal. VaDCDT is also pleased to invite proposals from the professional community serving transitioning individuals with special needs in Virginia. We welcome researchers, educators, and professionals to share innovative research and practices that support meaningful post-school transition outcomes. Pre-service and classroom special educators, transition professionals, university faculty, researchers, and doctoral students are encouraged to submit. This year, we are excited to offer both a traditional poster session and a teacher slam session.

Register to Attend. Please join attendees from all over the state of Virginia and network with educators, transition specialists, vocational coordinators, service agency representatives, and youth with disabilities and their families. This year's event will be held at the beautiful Hotel Roanoke in Roanoke, VA on March 6th and 7th.
