For Virginia Rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade African American Males and Parent(s)
The Virginia Department of Education welcomes African- American males with disabilities from across the Commonwealth to participate in a three-day institute.
Concurrent parent workshops offer resources and tools to promote self-determination in their sons and increase parent engagement in the education process.
Registration for this event is fully sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education. There is no cost for attendance.
Application Due Date: May 6, 2016
Applications will be reviewed and acceptance letters will be e-mailed on or before May 23, 2016.
