Wharton Research Data Services, known as WRDS, is a platform that contains a plethora of proprietary financial and accounting data from a variety of sources including S&P Global Market Intelligence, Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP), ETF Global, Securities & Exchange Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

In this workshop of the Data Crunch Series, a part of Researcher Services at Swem and McLeod Business Library users will:

  • Log into the WRDS platform
  • Learn about different datasets available in WRDS
  • Identify key datasets used in financial research
  • Run a simple data query

This session is tailored for beginners and there is no need to register for the product prior to training, as all workshop activities will occur using a shared data account.

Snacks will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. Please register by November 19th.
