The Art & Science Exchange hosts Lydia Fort, MFA and David Lynn, PhD of Emory University for a faculty focused workshop on collaborative teaching and scientific transculturalism (students are still welcomed). With backgrounds in Theatre and Chemistry, Lydia and David demonstrate how they integrate diverse perspectives and methodologies and promote the democratic exchange of disciplinary ideas to weave a richer tapestry of understanding in an increasingly interconnected global landscape. Instructors and participants across disciplines and learning communities will also learn more about their project, INclusive Collaboration (LINC), a Howard Hughes Medical Institute funded initiative unifying the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences to create connections around humanity’s grand challenges. Reception to follow.
