Based on true events. Fritz Bauer was a German-Jewish state prosecutor in post-war Germany, this movie deals with his struggles in a court system still full of Nazi sympathisers. Bauer was a key figure in bringing together the necessary pieces for the Eichmann-trial in Jerusalem and the Auschwitz trials a couple of years later.
