In this workshop, faculty Paul Heideman (Biology) will take everyone through the process of finding, adapting or creating Open Education Resources (OER), consider how to evaluate what’s available, and talk about what he has found as the pros and cons of using the OER found. In the courses in which he uses OER, the savings to students have been remarkable. Part of the workshop will be a discussion of when it would and when it would NOT be worth seeking and using OER. Lunch is included for this session. RSVP for this event by Monday, Oct 21.
