As we approach the end of the year, Special Collections is pleased to welcome graduating Swem student employees (undergrad and grad) to come take selfies with the College mace! Sign up for a time slot, bring your friends, and make a memory that’s become a beloved Special Collections end of year tradition.

When: May 16, 2023 | 11:00am-2:00pm

Where: Special Collections Research Center lobby, 1st floor of Swem Library (just past Read & Relax)

Who: You! Bring your friends, come on your own, wear your cap & gown, or come as you are! It’s up to you!

What: You’ll get the once in a lifetime chance to don cotton gloves and get a picture holding the William & Mary mace (College mace for graduating undergraduates and Marischal mace for graduating graduate students).
