The Choir of the College of William and Mary, under the direction of James Armstrong, will undertake its annual spring tour March 15-20, 2019. The Choir will give its first two concerts in North Carolina (Cary and Charlotte), then appear in Decatur, GA, Johnson City, TN and complete its tour in Richmond, VA. (For full itinerary with concert locations and times see http://www.choir.blogs.wm.edu) The program entitled ?Alleluia? and spanning more than three hundred years of choral music will feature works from England, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Russia, and the United States by Buxtehude, Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, Chesnokov, Skulte, Gjeilo, Poston, Randall Thompson, Copland, Whitacre, as well as African American spirituals arranged by Dawson and Belfield. Admission is free and open to the public.
