- Open to the public
Before you know it, April 16th will be here. And you probably already know that April 16th is One Tribe, One Day day here at W&M. This is the day set aside for all alums and friends to really consider their connection to W&M, and to make a contribution to the institution and the areas on campus that had a significant impact both in their time here on campus and in their lives.
To that end, I am reaching out to you to consider making a donation to the Music Department on April 16th. You could give to the Pipe Organ Fund, or the “new” Building Enhancement Fund. You could donate to your favorite ensemble, or for Faculty research. Or you may remember that when you were here, lesson fees for Music Majors were waived, but now due to dwindling funds, all majors are charged for lessons. Wouldn’t you like to help out a student who wants to take mandolin, or piano, or jazz harmonica lessons? Please give to the Music Scholarship Fund.
All of these options, plus many more, will be in the Music drop down menu on OTOD, April 16th. Consider the difference you can make in the lives of our current and future students.
In the past two years we have been overwhelmed with support and have received a Challenge Gift from the Dean of Arts and Science’s Office because of the number of supporters contributing to Music. Let’s go for the hat trick and continue the success this year!
Please make a donation to Music on One Tribe, One Day! April 16th
Thanks for reaching out and supporting W&M.
