Registration is open for the November 3 Indigenous Foodways Workshop & Feast at the Mason School of Business. IIC Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Conservation and 2023 SCP Faculty Fellow Troy Wiipongwii, with his colleagues at the Traditional Eastern Woodland Foodways Alliance, will explore the intersection of Indigenous foodways, education, and nutrition, followed by a celebratory feast featuring traditional dishes from Indigenous culinary educators. Learn about sustainable food practices and their positive impact on community well-being, the cultural and historical significance of Indigenous foods, and much more.
