Interested in helping students with their writing and communication skills? Apply to work as a paid writing center consultant!
Writing and Communication Center consultants are trained peer tutors who work with students in 50-minute consultations on planning, drafting, and polishing their writing, speaking, and multimedia projects. Consultants come from across the disciplines, majoring in Chemistry, Economics, English, Government, Hispanic Studies, History, Kinesiology, Math, Psychology, and more. Strong applicants are those who work well in a collaborative environment; have strong (or growing) critical thinking and problem solving skills; demonstrate ability in written and verbal communication; are open to diverse ideas and new ways of thinking, and exhibit effective work habits. Freshmen and sophomore applicants are given priority, but juniors are also encouraged to apply.

Applications will be accepted from October 7 to November 17.
