If you are interested in data visualization or need an easy to learn interface to interact with social data, Social Explorer and SimplyAnalytics might be for you!

You can use Social Explorer and SimplyAnalytics to visualize and interact with data, create maps, charts, and reports which are all downloadable. It includes data related to demography, economy, health, politics, environment, crime and more. It also provides quick and easy access to historical census data.

This workshop of the Data Crunch Series, a part of Researcher Services at Swem and McLeod Business Library, will introduce you to both tools, their features and how you can use it for your personal research.

Snacks will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. Please register by November 5th.
