[PAST EVENT] Symposium: From Slavery Toward Reconciliation; African Americans and the College

March 19, 2011
9am - 4pm
Location
Bruton Heights School, Colonial Williamsburg Educational Complex
Please join us on Saturday, March 19, from 9AM to 4PM at the Bruton Heights School in Williamsburg for a one-day symposium sponsored by the Lemon Project.

The Lemon Project is a long-term, interdisciplinary research project exploring William & Mary's 300-year relationship with African Americans in Williamsburg and the greater Tidewater area. This symposium will bring together students, faculty, and community members to discuss ongoing research into our past, as well as the ways that history continues to define relationships between African Americans and the College in the present.

Please register (it's free!) so that we may provide an adequate number of boxed lunches: {{http://www.wm.edu/lemon/,www.wm.edu/lemon}}.
