Join the Makerspaces at W&M and W&M Libraries for a presentation “What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?” with Jen Fowler, NASA Range Safety Officer and UAS pilot, on Dec. 1 at 2 pm in the Ford Classroom. She will discuss how we can individually define what it means to “Grow up,” how the concept applies to federal agencies as well as individual people. Fowler’s expertise lies in areas of autonomous atmospheric data collection and weather modeling research, with 19 years of experience with autonomous systems and collaborations around the world. Her background includes teaching in higher education, designing and building prototype sensors, piloting uninhabited and habited aircraft, and project management with numerous grants.
