In collaboration with descendant families, The Village Initiative's Local Black Histories Project and its W&M partners, invite you to join us for a celebration as we unveil an exhibit illuminating the residents who built livelihoods, families, and communities before they were displaced by the U.S. government for the construction of the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown.

Enjoy entertainment, refreshments, and exhibits honoring ancestors and hands-on activities for the whole family.
