Kick off Earth Week by joining us for a screening of the documentary film 2040, a hope-filled look at some of the leading solutions to climate change.
Half traditional documentary, half speculative fiction, writer and director Damon Gameau wanted to picture what the world might look like if climate change is solved by the time his daughter Velvet turns 21, in 2040. As part of this process, he travels the world to investigate five of the most promising climate mitigation strategies, interviewing various academics, ecological experts, and entrepreneurs along the way. Then, he gives us a peek inside his imagination to see what the world would look like if those solutions were implemented.
