City to Host Two Public Workshops on Biennial Goal Setting
Want to be a part of setting the City?s goals for the next two years? Every two years the Williamsburg City Council identifies new strategic objectives for City government. Biennial Goals, Initiatives and Outcomes (GIOs) provide an expression of the City's priorities. The City is hosting two Public Workshops to receive public input for the 2019/2020 GIOs. Residents are invited to join City Council members and staff to share suggestions and ideas as to what you think the City should prioritize and how they should do it.
The meetings are:
Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 5 pm - 7 pm in the large meeting room in the Stryker Center, 412 N. Boundary Street.
Friday, September 21, 2018, from 10 am - 12 noon on the campus of William & Mary at the Sadler Center Terrace, 200 Stadium Drive.
Both workshops are open to the general public. The workshops have no formal beginning or ending allowing attendees to arrive at any time, similar to an open house.
The workshops are just two of the many opportunities for citizen involvement and input during the process that includes several public meetings. The complete schedule for the 2019/2020 Goals, Initiatives & Outcomes process and results of the 2018 National Citizen Survey are available online at williamsburgva.gov/goals.
